As a multidisciplinary artist with a natural talent for rhythm, Chic Bangs has competed and performed as a pianist, vocalist and dancer. She is an entertainer who thrives when she is performing and connecting with others.
Since 2008, Chic Bangs has worked professionally as an accomplished DJ and event curator. She is a turntable trained DJ and was a resident artist and co-founder of the popular club nights, Shake ‘n Pop and Girls Night Out. Chic was nominated for Salt Lake City Weekly’s DJ of the Year in 2010. She is a master of reading the energy of a crowd and delivering an exceptional experience.
As a creative director, Chic has successfully mentored founders and artists.
Chic loves expressing her talents through lyricism, songwriting, singing, speaking and performing. Since 2010, she has been a regular feature on Custom Model music and is debuting solo music in 2022.
Chic Bangs is an engaging performer and is currently exhibiting her art, performing and building a private club to nurture her community.
In 2021, Chic enjoyed entertaining Utah as a morning show co-host on U92. She could often be heard speaking about blockchain technology and the modern renaissance of art.
Chic Bangs is also an intuitive certified movement & meditation instructor producing transformative workshops, classes and events. She has been public speaking and facilitating groups since 2013 and effortlessly weaves mindfulness into everything she touches.
In her spare time, Chic Bangs enjoys spending time with Hubby Chic, Little Chic and their two pups. She loves music, pop culture, art, movies, dance, healing circles, cooking, DIY’ing, traveling and soaking in hot springs. She is passionate about sustainability, climate action, social justice, decolonization and building the matriarchy.
